Sakura flowers Pendant
Hanami is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of Sakura flowers.
This unique pendant was specifically created for the February 2013 Etsy Beadweavers Team Challenge. The show cased pendant participated in the theme glorious "Japan" .The very beautiful Cabochon Rodonite embroidered on the leather using very high quality materials, including Japanese seed beads. The design of Cabochon was inspired by Japanese surroundings that reflect the beauty of the lake and look alike, with great use of Sakura flower beads along side the pendant.
The buttom part of the pendant you notice two crystal type drops, reflecting and shining out as lanterns would glow at night. Beautiful light reflections shining away from crystal type lantern amazingly signifies the glory and allows more light to shine upon glowing Sakura flowers in the darkening evening.
I winner of theme "Japan" challenge and has chosen the theme for April 2013 challenge!

- Симбирцит СаСО3 — разновидность кальцита, поделочный полупрозрачный камень жёлтых и красноватых оттенков. Внешне похож на янтарь и карнеол. Встречается в больших количествах в Ульяновской области, а также в обрывах правого берега Оки в Горьковской области и в Аргентине. Симбирцит приурочен в Ульяновской области к нижнемеловым отложениям Ундоровских гор готеривского, барремского, альбского и частично аптского ярусов. Встречается в трещинах и полостях усыхания в септариях и конкрециях мергеля. Первые крупные проявления симбирцита начинаются непосредственно под Ульяновском на оползневых склонах Симбирской горы и продолжаются на севере по Ундоровским горам до границы с Татарстаном[1][2].Образование симбирцита проходило также и в раковинах моллюсков-аммонитов. Слои мраморного оникса заполняли полости раковин на ископаемом перламутре, перемежаясь с прожилками пирита и гематита.
